Data

Steam Data Usage

Vapordle uses a server-side cache of publicly available Steam store information to build daily puzzles. The cache includes game titles, release dates, genres, tags, developers, publishers, prices, review summaries, capsule art, screenshots, and public store links where available.

How the cache is used

Quality and limits

Steam store data can change, disappear, or be incomplete. Vapordle filters games by mode readiness and hides mature/adult games by default, but some metadata can still be imperfect until the cache is refreshed.

The game avoids using private Steam profile data, Steam account login, or a player's personal library. A puzzle can be solved with the public clues shown on the page and the game's own memory of previous guesses.

Attribution

Steam and Valve trademarks, store pages, screenshots, capsule art, and game metadata belong to their respective owners. Vapordle uses this public information only to identify games, build trivia-style puzzles, and link players back to the relevant Steam store pages.
