About Vapordle

Vapordle is an independent daily guessing game about Steam releases. Players solve a set of daily puzzles using public game metadata, screenshots, store-style descriptions, release dates, tags, and review-score clues.

The goal is to make game discovery playful. Some puzzles focus on familiar releases, while Full Chaos can surface obscure, older, experimental, or niche Steam games that players may never have seen before.

Instead of being a searchable Steam database, Vapordle is built as a daily puzzle loop. The clues are intentionally constrained: players see enough information to reason about a game, but store links and full reveal details stay hidden until that game has already appeared in the run.

What makes the site useful

• Six playable game modes with separate daily and practice runs.
• Links back to the relevant Steam store page after the game appears, so players can inspect the source listing.
• A standard SFW pool by default, with mature games hidden unless a user explicitly enables them.
• Original game logic, scoring, balancing, UI, and daily puzzle selection built for Vapordle.

Modes

The site currently includes Classic, Screenshot, Timeline, Tags, Blurb, and Review Duel modes. Each one uses a different part of the public Steam store listing, so a player who is strong at release dates may still struggle with screenshots or review comparisons.

Vapordle is fan-made and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Valve Corporation, Steam, GeoGuessr, Wordle, or any game publisher.
